South Lyon Area Youth Assistance (SLAYA) is planning its 25th Annual Youth Recognition Program for youth in grades 6-12 in the South Lyon Community School District. We invite you to nominate students for this recognition. Please complete and submit this form by Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Students will be recognized for their commitment to volunteer services performed within the past year. We will also be awarding scholarships to graduating seniors. These exceptional youth must be planning to attend college or trade school.
Students will be recognized for their commitment to volunteer services performed within the past year. We will also be awarding scholarships to graduating seniors. These exceptional youth must be planning to attend college or trade school.
*While there is no minimum number of hours of service required, we want to recognize consistency and quality of service which demonstrates a sincere desire to contribute. Volunteer work performed to fulfill other requirements should not be considered, nor would students performing paid or mandated services be eligible. Any individual or organization is eligible to submit nominations.
All nominees and nominators will receive an invitation to the Youth Recognition breakfast and program on May 20th. Nominees will be awarded a recognition packet, as well as recognition via social media. Thank you for helping us to make this program a success.
