South Lyon Community Schools CHILD FIND
Child Find is a process which identifies children who may have difficulties in one or more areas of development. The Child Find Coordinator meets with parents/caregivers of children with suspected delays to discuss developmental milestones and the process of receiving school evaluations and services. Assessment can determine a child’s abilities in areas such as thinking, speaking, listening, behavior, socialization, and motor skills.
