SLCS COVID-NOTICE (Revised 2021)
On October 5, 2020, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued an order that requires public schools to provide notice to the community about school associated cases of COVID-19. “School associated” is defined as:
A case of probable or confirmed COVID-19 amongst students, teachers, staff members, coaches, volunteers, or any other person who was present on school property or at a school function under circumstances that may result in the transmission or contraction of COVID-19 during their infectious period.
In order to be compliant with MDHHS Emergency Order MCL 333.2253, the following chart represents the number of probable and confirmed cases of COVID-19 within SLCS, as identified from the Oakland County Health Department, from October 12, 2020, to date.
