As the end of the year approaches, take some time to return your library books and pay your fines.  There are currently 218 books checked out and 72 of them are overdue.  All materials must be returned and fines paid by June 6th in order to participate in Mustang Madness.

Today’s MMS vs. CMS staff kickball game has been POSTPONED due to the rain.  Listen to the announcements for the rescheduled date.

Attention Student Council Members:  Your next meeting is TOMORROW at 6:50am in Ms. Bernardi’s classroom.

Any 8th graders who are interested in trying out for East Cheer or who will be attending the 8th Grade Cheer clinic today, MUST bring a current athletic physical to the clinic. Anyone who does not turn in a physical, or who does not already have one on file, will not be able to participate. Please remember to bring your physical!

Do you love coding, or are interested in learning how to?  Next year MMS is going to start an after-school Coding Club for students in 6th-8th grade.  Pick up a flyer from either office today and learn more about this cool new club.

Attention 8th grade girls interested in swimming or diving in high school next year.  TOMORROW there will be an informational meeting in Mr. Ferguson’s room from 2:45 to 3:45.  Come be a part of the most successful program in South Lyon.  The best part, it is a combined team, so friends from both high schools participate on the same team!  Don’t forget, Thursday, 2:45 in Mr. Ferguson’s room.

The 6th grade science and social studies classes are competing against each to raise the most money for Relay for Life. Relay For Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society is committed to saving lives from cancer. Your donations help fight all types of cancer, for all types of people, in all types of communities around the globe. Please consider supporting Relay For Life by making a donation in your 6th grade science and social studies classes. Donations will be accepted today through next Friday!

Invitations were handed out yesterday to students who are receiving an award at the honors assemblies in June.  Students receiving an award are also posted on lists outside of both lunchrooms.  If you have questions, please stop by the Counseling Office.

Reminder for 6th Graders, there's a Lunch Crunch in the Team Room for Social Studies.
