  Teaching Applicants:
We belong to the Oakland Human Resources Consortium and all resumes and supporting documentation must be submitted to the consortium. Their mailing address is: Oakland Human Resources, 2111 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, MI  48328-2735. Or you may e-mail them at: oakland.k12.mi.us/OHRC. For directions for applying through the consortium, please long onto their website at oakland.k12.mi.us/OHRC or call 877-277-5962.

If we have a teaching position posted that you are interested in, you may send a letter of interest to: South Lyon Community Schools, Administrative Services, 345 South Warren, South Lyon, MI 48178. Food Service, Maintenance, and Transportation Applicants:
To apply for food service, transportation or maintenance positions, go to 22727 Griswold or call the Transportation department at (248) 573-8900, the Environmental Services department at (248) 573-8920 or the Food Service department at (248) 573-8925. Contact these departments for substitute positions also.

Guest Teachers, Substitute Paraeducators:
Contact Karen Wiater at (248) 573-8140 if you are interested in being a guest teacher or a substitute paraeducator. Fax a letter of interest and a resume to (248) 437-8928. Currently we are only accepting guest teacher applicants that are certified or that are education students. Guest teachers need 90 credit hours from a four year college or university and must pay for fingerprinting (not required if done within the past 12 months at another district).
