We will inspire academic excellence, improve student achievement, promote life-long learning and instill respect for self and others. We are determined to go beyond teaching and will empower children by giving them an understanding of how they learn. By putting the needs of children first, we will develop individuals who will unite with, and lead generations of confident, caring and capable citizens.

From the Principal, Megan Goodemoot Dear Dolsen Families and Community Members, It is with great pride that I welcome you to Dolsen Elementary! We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated staff, wonderful students, and actively involved parents and community members. I look forward to working with you this school year. I invite you to stop by the office so that we can meet in person. If I am not available, I am mostly likely in a classroom. I love teaching and learning, and at Dolsen we are committed to providing your child with rich learning and educational experiences. I believe in doing what is best for children, and I will always use this as my guiding force when making decisions about our school. My career in education began at Michigan State University. (Go green!) I hold my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus in Mathematics. I hold my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to coming to Dolsen, I taught with a very talented staff at Hardy Elementary. I welcome you to involve yourself in our school in a variety of ways. Together, we can make this school year a success! |
